Summer is here! Get outside and enjoy the sun and warm weather! A patio umbrella is a great way to provide shade on a deck, patio, or yard. Aluminum is the most common material used to make umbrella poles it is favorable because it is resistant to corrosion, so it can be left outside without fear of damage from the elements. However, a wood frame is popular due to its sophisticated appearance.

The average patio umbrella has a 8.5 feet span. When choosing an umbrella it is important that it extends beyond the table or seating group to ensure that everyone seated under the umbrella will be covered.
